Our Distinctives Serve You

Every church has its own strengths
that serve it well.

At the same time, there is not a perfect church out there that is going to meet the needs of every individual. We recognize that, and we are not trying to be the church that caters to every individual. Heritage Fellowship does have distinct strengths that we believe can benefit and help those who want to grow in their relationship with the Lord and with other believers. Here are the things that we believe make Heritage Fellowship special:

Our Co-Pastors – Brian and Gary share preaching responsibilities every other week, which results in a nice variety of preaching style and presentation.

Our Fellowship Meal – The fellowship meal that we share each Sunday after our worship service is a wonderful, non-formal time of encouragement, discipleship, and relationship building (not to mention the amazing food).

Our Preaching Style – As we preach through whole books of the Bible we take an expository preaching approach.  With this approach we look at each passage in context, getting the full thoughts of the book's author, and then seeing how the text applies to our lives today.

Our Close-knit Relationships – There is a genuine love for one another among those who attend Heritage Fellowship.  This love compels us to be there for one another in times of need.

Our Location – Since our church building is located off of N. Main Street in Boiling Springs it allows us to be easily reached from Shelby, Forest City, and Gaffney/Spartanburg.

Our Family Worship Environment – Our worship structure allows for families to be together during worship and for parents to teach their children how to worship.

Our Desire to Grow – While we are a relatively small and close-knit church body, we have a great desire to reach out to those around us with the gospel and to help them grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord.
